AD JEWELRY

I love to collect jewelry featured in vintage jewelry advertisements.  These advertisements help to date the jewelry and often reveal the original retail price.

Note:  "Collecting Costume Jewelry 202" is full of vintage jewelry advertisements and photographs of jewelry matching the pieces in the advertisement.

This interesting PIK advertisement is from the 1954 Jewelers' Buyers Guide.  The ad showcases a wonderful mesh bracelet with fabulous charms.  All of the charms and beads MOVE along the mesh band.  This is a unique bracelet, with a unique design, and featuring unique charms.  The 1954 vintage advertisement adds to the interest, and in my opinion, value of this piece.  PIK must have been very proud of this design to advertise it in this way.  I wonder how many different charms were available and if customers could customize orders?
